Administration Department
- To perform the duties and responsibilities stipulated under the Market Committee's Act, Rules, By-laws, and Employee Service Rules, and to carry out the tasks assigned as per Section 35 of the Act and Rule 106.
- To attend the meetings of the Market Committee's Board of Directors/Sub-committee as per Section 13(f), participate in discussions, express legal opinions, and ensure their implementation.
- To handle matters related to notifications under Sections 3, 4, and 5, and amendments to by-laws and service rules, and to handle court cases.
- To present government letters and reports received from employees to the Board of Directors' meeting for discussion and action.
- To oversee election-related work.
- To handle all tasks and responsibilities within the purview of the Secretary's position, as instructed by the Hon'ble Administrator/Chairman from time to time.
- To organize Committee Board of Directors meetings and sub-committee meetings as per the instructions of the Hon'ble Administrator/Chairman, issue notices, attend meetings, read reports, maintain minutes of the meetings, and write the minutes of the general meeting.
